We pledge:

We pledge ourselves to creating and maintaining an environment that respects diverse backgrounds, heritages, identities, and experiences through a commitment to diversity in membership, programs, leadership roles, and while promoting diverse participation in programs, policy formulation and decision-making.

We will strive to:

  • Ensure that membership and programming is accessible to those of varying economic means through efforts such as scholarships and leadership development programs.
  • Use inclusive and accessible language in our program marketing, on our website, and in our trainings.
  • Promote the understanding of the interests, issues, and needs members and potential members of diverse ethnicities, race, culture, gender and sexual identity, orientation and expression, different ages, physical shapes, abilities, religious and spiritual beliefs.
  • Promote ongoing conversations about inclusiveness and diversity.
  • Provide reasonable accommodations in compliance with all laws. Individuals with questions about this policy, or who wish to request accommodation should contact the instructor directly.
  • Create a learning environment which meets the needs of each individual student. Different countries and different instructors have different abilities to accommodate various learning disabilities.
