Imago Facilitator Training:

Modules 1 - 4

The Imago facilitator training program prepares you for Certification as an Imago Professional Facilitator™ Imago Communication Facilitator™ or an Imago Relationship Facilitator™ and supports coaches, managers, teachers, consultants and leaders in deepening their facilitation skills with individuals, groups, and organizations within a Relational Paradigm.

The facilitation training program consists of four modules, four days or 32 course hours each*. The modules are scheduled with several months in between to enable trainees to practice facilitating clients and prepare recordings of practice sessions. See Level 2 for the additional steps required for certification.

 What are the requirements to register for this training?

The trainee will work with individuals, leaders, groups and organizations in a professional setting and are required to be clear if they are or are not, qualified and allowed by law to do therapy or clinical work depending on the state, province, or country of their residence.

Before the trainee may represent themselves as a Certified Imago FacilitatorTM Participant will need to successfully complete all training requirements set forth by IITI including all participation in all sixteen days (or the equivalent time) of training, recordings of your facilitation, all small group sessions for feedback on your facilitation, and the approval of a final project that demonstrates mastery of Imago Facilitation skills.

  1. Participant may present and market oneself as a Certified Imago Professional Facilitator TM, Certified Imago Relationship Facilitator TM, or Imago Communication Facilitator TM (hereinafter collectively referred to as Certified Imago Facilitator TM) and use the Imago concepts, practices, and exercises within their legally practicing profession recognized in their respective country. To clarify, training as a Certified Imago FacilitatorTM does not qualify the individual to practice Imago Therapy or qualify individuals to become licensed therapists.
  2. Use of Imago logos 
  3. Participant may professionally facilitate individuals, dyads, groups, and organizations in any desirable professional format such as coaching, consultation, or education.
  4. Participant may produce or reproduce relevant materials from Imago Relationship Theory and Educational materials provided during training for the purposes of working directly with clients.
  5. Participant may create derivative works based on the Imago Materials and shall be subject to prior written approval of the Imago IP Support Circle. Contact Sanam Hoon sanam@hunt-hendrix.com for more information.
  6. Participant may present at conferences and various meetings up to and no more than two hours in length on Imago theory and practice and may demonstrate educational exercises such as public demonstrations of the methods or dialogues that they have learned in facilitator training. These include, for example, Communologue,TM or Imago DialogueTM in a facilitator-to-client context, but shall omit any public demonstrations that could be construed as therapy, the practice of “experiential/regressive” processes and honor copyright laws regarding reproductions of any materials. Reproduction of the materials or any rendition thereof, for public presentations or distributions to audiences outside of direct clients is not permitted without prior written permission from IITI.
