My name is Rachael Goss, and I’m from Edinboro, PA, but have lived in the Pittsburgh area for most of my adult life. I’ve opened my own private practice as an LPC, after years of working for a non-profit. I specialize in working with LBGTQ+ populations and am beginning to focus my work on queer couples thanks to my Imago training.

I came to Imago personally before I came to it professionally. My husband and I were struggling in our relationship so we decided to try couple’s therapy. After a few months, we realized that we would leave our sessions more angry, hurt, and disconnected than when we had first come in. We were desperate and on the verge of calling it quits when a friend mentioned that I should try and find an Imago therapist to see if it would be a better fit. There was one practitioner in Pittsburgh. Thankfully, she is amazing and taught us to dialogue. This work has changed our relationship forever.

After experiencing the magic of Imago in my own relationship, I decided to pursue the Imago training so that I might begin to do this work in my own therapy practice. I wanted to share this with every couple and individual I met (and still do!). It has taken a lot of work and dedication to the practice, but it has truly changed my life – and the lives of my clients – for the better. If you are considering doing this training – you won’t regret it.

Working with Jesica Eames on the Imago Faculty has been the best training, supervision, consultation experience of my career. She is warm, kind, funny, and gives thoughtful and constructive feedback. My confidence as a therapist has grown because of her encouragement. She skillfully shares power, inviting a dynamic conversation where you feel like you’re working together to find the best path forward. What I appreciate most about Jesica is that she is genuinely in relationship with you. Her care goes beyond your cases and questions, and incorporates your whole being. I feel so lucky to have found her.
