Eva Wessely has been a nurse since 1986 and a psychotherapist since 1996. She has been working as an imagotherapist since 2011. For the past 25 years, she has been working in a special obstetrics unit. Her passion is accompanying and supporting expectant parents. In recent years, she has developed a concept for expectant parents. The aim of this service is to offer support to parents from the middle of pregnancy until their newborn child reaches the age of two. This project is called “Familiengarten” (Family Garden) and is designed to accompany the transition from a couple relationship to parenthood with a great deal of expertise, knowledge, and empathy.
I found my way to Imago one year after our separation. Our Kids where young and we couldn´t talk without fighting. So 2008 we entered an Imago Workshop, what we experienced at this weekend, was kind of magical. We spoke in a way and depth, we never did before. There was much love and understanding, even when we couldnt become a couple, we managed a good base for our kids and family. Iwas so impressed, that I decided to become an Imago Therapist as soon as possible, I started my Training 2011 and I am on my learning and growing ever since. Imago has enriched my whole life, my work as a therapist, my work as a nurse, my relationship to my daughter, my friends. Imago lead me through the darkest times in my life and the Imago community brought me important friendships made for life. I am very grateful and proud, to be a part of this community and way of being. And I am glad for everybody how will enrich this group of loving beings in future, we need and welcome you all.
