After obtaining a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Geneva, she specialized in couples and family therapy and in psychotherapy. She worked for several years in an outward psychiatric unit at the University Hospitals in Geneva where she participated to the creation of a program for chronically suicidal borderline patients. In the meantime, she co-founded Pluriels, an Association and Psychotherapy Center for Immigrants. For ten years she worked there part-time as a psychotherapist with the Latin-American illegal community. In 2000, she opened her private practice in Geneva. She first focused in individual therapy but after her training in Imago therapy she came back to her initial passion which was working with couples. At the end of her Imago Clinical Training she co-founded the Swiss Imago Association and for ten years she worked actively as chair and co-chair of the Swiss board. She then trained as a workshop presenter and with her husband Fulvio, with whom she has been married for 27 years, they run couples workshops. Together they encourage couples to commit and embrace the adventure of being together. She is appreciated for her warmth, her generosity and professionalism. Couples and trainees treasure the quality of her listening and presence. As she is the daughter of a Colombian mother, a Swiss father, was born in Guatemala, grew up in Mexico and married an Italian man, she learned to create bridges between cultures from a very early age on! She speaks fluent French, Spanish, English and Italian. Her cultural background gives her teaching a unique international touch. She received an IRI award for community building. And as she is always curious about life, she keeps training…
