BIOGRAPHICAL INFO

John Mortensen is a psychologist with a private practice in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a lektor at University of Copenhagen at the Institute of Psychology where he teaches Relational Psychology, the psychology of couplehood and the therapeutic dialogue. He has been a lektor at the University College of Sealand where he delivered lectures on personal leadership, organizational learning, strategic leadership, and executive coaching. He is currently a clinical professor at Daybreak University Los Angeles where he soon finalizing a PhD in how to train Couples Therapists in general and Imagotherapists specifically. John is himself a coach, an organizational counselor but mainly a Clinical practitioner  with years of experience in psychoanalytic, narrative and constructivistic traditions. John is a certified Somatic experiance Therapist and also Trained in Internal Family System therapy. His theoretical and metodological home is Imago and he is a Certified Imago Therapist, a Certified Workshop Presenter , a Certified Imago Consultant and a Senior Clinical Trainer. John and his wife Pia have been married since 1989 and together they have a son Jakob (27 years old) and two daughters Anna and Line plus 5 grandkids.
